One coordinated plan
Convenience retail, food preparation, customer service, storage, and support spaces had to function as one connected operation.

Commercial project · Convenience + food service
A fast-moving commercial layout bringing convenience retail, a chicken restaurant, and a Blimpie restaurant together in one coordinated plan.
The brief
The client needed a complete layout that could move quickly without losing the operational details that make a multi-concept business work.
McCain Designs developed the overall plan and worked through the restaurant requirements with Blimpie. Customer circulation, food-service areas, convenience retail, storage, and back-of-house functions were considered together so the client could review one clear direction instead of disconnected pieces.
Design priorities
The value of the work was not only the finished layout. It was giving the client, brand partner, and construction team a shared plan they could act on.
Convenience retail, food preparation, customer service, storage, and support spaces had to function as one connected operation.
McCain Designs coordinated with Blimpie so the restaurant layout could meet brand needs while fitting the larger building plan.
The full layout was completed in under two weeks, giving the client the information needed to keep the project moving into construction.
Operational planning
Storage, stocking, staff movement, and service access are essential parts of a successful convenience and food-service plan. Visualizing these working areas helps the client review capacity and circulation before construction.
