Greensboro Village
A planned 58-home community combining repeatable townhome and duplex concepts with site, parking, circulation, and development-wide visualization.
The development brief
Coordinate two residential products as one recognizable community.
Greensboro Village brings together a higher-count townhome program and larger duplex residences within one development vision.
The planned program includes 36 townhome units based on a repeatable two-bedroom plan, plus 11 duplex buildings containing 22 larger three-bedroom homes. The design work connects the individual unit experience to the broader site—building placement, parking, alley access, circulation, streetscape, exterior identity, and the coordination required with the civil and permitting team.
This page documents McCain Designs' design and development-planning work. It does not represent the project as completed construction.
Two repeatable home types
Repetition has to support the investment without flattening the resident experience.
The townhome and duplex concepts are developed around different residents and different scales while sharing a coordinated neighborhood identity.
- Two-bedroom townhome units planned at approximately 1,200–1,300 square feet
- Three-bedroom duplex homes planned at approximately 2,000–2,200 square feet
- Repeatable building concepts designed for efficient development
- Parking, alley access, circulation, and building orientation studied with the site
- 3D visualization used to review the community before construction
Developer-focused design
Study the unit, the building, and the site as one decision system.
Greensboro Village demonstrates the value of resolving repeatable plans alongside parking, circulation, exterior identity, and stakeholder visualization instead of treating each decision as a separate task.
